Air-Sea Transition Layers (ASTraL) / Enhancing Knowledge of the Arabian Sea Marine environment through Science and Advanced Training (EKAMSAT)
The goal of ASTraL/EKAMSAT is to improve our understanding of the complicated multiscale atmospheric and oceanic interaction processes that contribute to the Indian monsoon, and thereby to improve predictions of variability in the monsoon. This project is funded by the Office of Naval Research.
